The King of Thailand graciously welcomed 15 emaciated Great Danes into his care after Thai authorities rescued them from a neglected breeding farm. These poor dogs had been abandoned in a house located in Pathum Thai, a region in central Thailand, when their owner suddenly disappeared a few weeks prior. With no one to provide them with food and proper care, they suffered extreme weight loss, causing their bones to protrude through their fur.
An irresponsible individual who owned a dog irresponsibly abandoned 15 majestic Great Danes on a breeding farm in the heart of Thailand. These beautiful dogs, as shown in the picture, were left to suffer from extreme neglect, resulting in severe emaciation that caused their bones to protrude through their skin.
The owner of the dogs disappeared from the breeding farm a few weeks back, explaining that she was jobless and unable to provide food for the animals. After being informed about the distressing condition of the malnourished dogs, volunteers were called in to save them. On Sunday, these compassionate individuals arrived to rescue the dogs, who are now undergoing a recovery process under the care of Watchdog Thailand.
The animals had obviously not been fed for many weeks and were suffering from severe malnutrition. Unfortunately, on Sunday, a female dog and her two puppies died in a cage before they could be rescued.
A group of caring individuals became aware of the dire situation and made their way to the location on Monday to save the animals and provide them with a well-deserved meal.
Thanks to the efforts of the volunteers from Watchdog Thailand and the generosity of King Rama X, who learned about their mistreatment and personally ordered his household to fund their recovery, the dogs are now on the road to recovery.
A spokesperson announced: “We have received a special request from His Majesty The King. His Royal Highness has instructed a delegation to officially adopt the dogs at the Animal Welfare Division.”
In a cage, one can observe the presence of Two Remarkable Dates. When Watchdog Thailand discovered these canines, they were unfortunately confined after the owner shuttered her breeding facility due to financial difficulties. According to local residents, the property had functioned as a dog breeding farm for many years before the owner abandoned the animals in a cruel manner. Shocked by the dire condition in which the Great Danes were living, which resulted in the death of a female dog and her two puppies in a cage on Sunday, she decided to report the situation to the foundation for assistance. On Monday around 2 pm, volunteers arrived at the residence and discovered 15 emaciated dogs locked in cages, all suffering from severe malnutrition.
In an incredible turn of events, the 15 emaciated Great Danes now have a benevolent ally. His Majesty King Rama X of Thailand has graciously stepped forward to “embrace” these unfortunate beings, taking full responsibility for their medical needs, sustenance, and ongoing welfare.
The authorities responsible for rescuing the malnourished dogs, as shown in the picture above, will be subjected to punishment under the Cruelty Prevention and Welfare of Animal Act. Currently, a police investigation is ongoing regarding the matter. During their operation, they also encountered Nui, a housekeeper aged 50, who claimed to have been asked by a relative of the dog breeder to take care of the property. Nui then agreed to cooperate in the rescue efforts.
Veterinarian Kangwann Thirathamrong took on the responsibility of providing nourishment and medical treatment to the dogs, before eventually relocating them to the Livestock Development’s Animal Center. The aim of this relocation is to aid their mental and physical recovery.
A veterinarian has recently provided medical treatment and nourishment to a group of dogs who have now been relocated to the Livestock Development’s Animal Center in order to aid in their recovery. The veterinarian stated, “The owner claimed that she never harmed the dogs and continued to feed them, but due to her unemployment and financial difficulties, they suffered.” Each of the rescued dogs requires further care in the animal center. Afterwards, we will assess whether the owner is financially prepared to take them back. If not, we will seek out dog lovers who are willing to provide them with a loving home. According to a spokesperson from Watchdog Thailand, earlier this morning, His Majesty the King has commanded his household to adopt all of the Great Danes at the Animal Welfare Division. The monarch will cover the expenses for their treatment, food, and ongoing care. In the meantime, the former owner is facing punishment under the Cruelty Prevention and Welfare of Animal Act as the police have initiated an investigation.
